CONGRESS MUST PROTECT OUR NATIONAL SECURITY – ESPECIALLY SINCE TRUMP WON’T

caely.barrett@gmail.com

Background

The battle over coronavirus relief shows who cares for us. House Democrats passed comprehensive COVID relief months ago - which Senate Democrats support. McConnell and his GOP refuse to help us, instead rushing through judges and bargaining our lives away for corporate liability shields and for changes to federal lending programs so Biden won’t be able to help us.

All the while we are being attacked by Russia. A Russian cyberattack, like an act of war, puts our national security at risk. The Trump administration is doing nothing to protect us. Trump’s firing of the head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and Trump’s Pentagon refusing to work with incoming Biden administration in the face of a Russian attack speaks volumes.

Congress must appropriate and investigate.

Democrats must keep pushing for measures that care for us.

Mitch McConnell and his GOP shouldn’t be allowed to help donors and destroy Biden with our tax dollars and our lives.

Congressional committees must investigate this Russian security attack and protect our national security.

Call Congress today and insist they care for us. Then work for a Congress that will care for us with GOTV for the Georgia Senate races.
