***IMMEDIATE ACTION***”Alligator Auschwitz”and ICE’S OTHER CONCENTRATION CAMPS MUST BE SHUT DOWN [7-14-25]

The $170 billion for border and immigration enforcement in the MAGA Murder Bill funds the two major components of Trump’s fascist government—an American Gestapo filled with loyal goons, and the concentration camps spread across the country to which his enemies will be sent.

Trump’s mask-wearing, heavily armed, unidentifiable Gestapo thugs are already grabbing millions of mostly law-abiding brown and black immigrant neighbors and disappearing them to new and reopened cruel and inhumane, privately run concentration camps whose owners are Trump campaign contributors. There, they’ll be mistreated and tortured without public oversight and possibly removed from the U.S—with complete disregard for due process and common humanity.

While conditions are bad in existing ICE camps, the hastily constructed “Alligator Auschwitz” concentration camp in the Florida Everglades, whose large tents with cages for detainees were financed with FEMA funds mandated for migrant shelters, is particularly inhumane:

  • Residents locked in cages inside regularly flooding tents;

  • Massive swarms of mosquitos;

  • Maggot-infested food;

  • Lights on 24/7;

  • No access to fresh water, flushing toilets, showers, basic medical care, religious rights, legal counsel or unannounced congressional oversight.

Sending non-criminals there, by itself, is constitutionally impermissible. So is intentionally depriving them of sleep, food, medical care and the like.

Americans don’t want to live in a police state. Neither do they countenance undocumented immigrants’ detention and torture or ICE’s harassment of Trump’s enemies.

Members of Congress, state officials, civic groups, and media outlets must expose and amplify what’s going on in these camps and push back against this Nazi-like behavior. Congress must also investigate and expose the “play-to-pay” corruption of private prison companies American taxpayers are financing and get these concentration camps closed.
