WRITE TO 250,000
Potential Voters
By October 24
Why?
To defend our democracy and hold the corrupt accountable, we must vote out MAGA Republicans and give control of Congress to Democrats this November.
This administration is not focused on helping the American people. They are solely focused on helping themselves, corporations, and billionaires get more power and wealth. Their actions are hurting Americans, including previously Independent and Republican voters, who are now more receptive to voting for Democrats than they have been in the last 8 years!
Our goal is to help this conversion process. 60% of unregistered voters have never been asked to register!
How?
When we vote, we win! We need to register as many new voters as possible, and then get them to vote for progressive candidates.
This November, all 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate will be on the ballot, along with elections for 39 state and territorial governors, attorney generals, and other state and local offices.
What We’re Writing
We are offering both partisan Voter Registration Postcards and Get Out The Vote Letters.
Get your packets by joining an in-person event, or finding a pickup location.
The packets are FREE! Writers are welcome to take and write as many packets as they wish.
If you have the budget, please purchase stamps to mail the cards you write. However, we know that many people do not have the budget for all the stamps they may need. Click here for the details of our Postage Stamp Policy.

These are non-partisan Get Out The Vote postcards targeting Democrats in Oregon that are not regular Mid-Term Election voters. The scripts are provided and must be written as provided (or we could be fined by the Oregon State Campaign Finance Laws). Our Partners
Partisan Voter Registration
“We are the national leader in proudly partisan voter registration! Using a first-of-its-kind database to reach out via email, text, and postcard, we register Democrats in the most flippable states and districts nationwide.“
Non-Partisan Get Out the Vote
“We partner with volunteers to take evidence-driven, high-impact actions that strengthen our democracy by building trust in government and increasing voter participation.”
IT TAKES MONEY!
It is our goal make writing to voters easy and affordable for EVERYONE. Producing the post card and letter packets, and provide postage for writers who can write many cards, but don’t have the budget for postage, takes money. We do not receive support from any large national organization, we have to raise all of our funds ourselves. If your budget allows, please contribute to our important cause. You can donate to our Go Fund Me Stamp Fund at the button below. We gratefully accept any amount.
WE GLADLY ACCEPT THE DONATION OF ACTUAL POSTCARD and FIRST CLASS STAMPS!
Simply bring them to one of our events. Most importantly, please ask friends, neighbors, and relatives who are not able to write, to financially support us!

Yes!
Writers can write letters or postcards at events and leave them with us to stamp and mail, or, if writing at home, bring them back to us at a future event unstamped and we will stamp and mail them as our funding allows.

We appreciate your support!
We do fundraising to pay for stamps. Donate here.
Regular stamps are currently $0.82 each, or $16.40 to mail a packet of 20 letters.
Postcard stamps are currently $0.65 each, or $13.00 to mail a packet of 20 postcards.
We also need people to help run events. Contact us if that’s you!
-
Use a blue pen when possible. Using black pens makes the letter look more like they were printed by a machine, rather than a person. Other colors can be used.
-
It is okay to cross out mistakes or use whiteout. This reinforces the impression that the letters or postcards are hand-written by humans.
-
Please destroy the list to protect voters’ sensitive information. Shredding is best, or you can tear it up into small pieces.

From Field Team 6:
We register Democrats because those are the voters who will literally save our democracy.
Because we do partisan voter registration, we can also talk about what Democrats stand for, and we can mention specific candidates, helping with name recognition. This means our activism is doubly effective – we canvass while we register.
-
Vote Forward Letters are to be mailed between October 1 to 24th, 2026.
-
Yes, It is important that these messages are nonpartisan. Research done by Vote Forward over past elections prove that nonpartisan messages have better results.
-
Yes, it is actually preferred that you make the letter more appealing to read.
Please do not put stickers on the outside of the envelope, as they can get stuck in the USPS equipment.
-
The return address aids Vote Forward in the updating of their mailing lists when letters are not able to be delivered.
-
We are not able to give you a replacement, but you can copy one of the other letters from your packet.
Cover the name and address at the bottom of the unwritten letter, ex. with a strip of blank paper.
Make a copy.
Use the copy for the person whose personalized letter was damaged. You don’t need to replace their name at the bottom.
-
Feel free to return the letters to one of the Indivisible Oregon Letter Writing events. We will store them for you and mail them at the right time.
-
If you are interested in hosting a postcard writing event, contact us. We will supply the postcard packets and give you advice.
