Vote!

“Voting isn’t a Valentine. It’s a chess move.”

  • Check Your Registration

The last day to update your registration is 3 weeks before election day. For the Oregon Primary Election, that is Tuesday, April 28.

  • Fill out your Ballot

Primary Election ballots were sent to voters starting Wednesday, April 29!

Oregon has closed primaries, so you will only see the partisan candidates for the party you are registered with.

Watch a video on how to fill out and return your ballot.

  • Return Your Ballot

Planning to mail your ballot? The last recommended day to mail is Tuesday, May 12.

After May 12, please either find a dropbox, or have it hand-postmarked at a post office to make sure your vote is counted.

Dropboxes are open 24/7 and until 8pm on election day (May 19).

Ballots must be received at any County elections office or Dropbox location by 8pm, Tuesday, May 19, or postmarked by Tuesday, May 19.

Check the status of your ballot online with the Oregon Secretary of State.

Some counties also offer text, phone, and email updates.

Make sure your ballot has been accepted!

Election Day is Tuesday, May 19.
