Sister District Portland
Local
Sister District teams are matched with critical, winnable races in swing states around the country. We build Democratic power in the states by supporting amazing candidates in state legislatures, who can push back against the Trump administration today, and who will go on to become our next generation of federal leaders in the future.
-
Act for Democracy
Local
We meet once a month in person. Local communities form a necessary part in the chain of democracy that stretches from the federal government - through state government - all the way down to our own neighborhoods, ourselves, and our neighbors. The City of Portland and its surrounding “ecosystem” is an important bulwark against authoritarian overreach. Every link in the chain has its own unique power and we plan to exercise that power.
