UPDATE: Senator Merkley is postponing his Yamhill, Polk, and Marion County town halls scheduled for Friday, January 9 so he can be present in Portland due to the shooting by federal agents of two individuals in East Portland.
His office will share details when the town halls are rescheduled.
Senator Merkley will update constituents on his work in Washington, D.C., answer their questions and invite their suggestions about how to tackle the challenges facing Oregon and America.
My office is committed to diversity, inclusion, and fostering full participation for all. While there is no need to RSVP for the town hall, my team is ready to help should you need disability-related accommodations or have other access requirements to participate in the town hall. Please reach out to my State Operations Manager Allison Burke at Allison_Burke@merkley.senate.gov or (503) 326-3386 to make your accommodations request by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 1/6 for my team to best support your participation.
NOTE: Oregonians have been turning out in record-breaking numbers to Senator Merkley’s recent town halls. His office works to find the best venues available, but please be prepared that venues may reach capacity.
