This event is organized by the Oregon Nurses Association and other labor groups. While Indivisible Oregon (IO) is not hosting this event, we embrace nonviolent protest as a critical strategy for defying the authoritarian regime. We encourage participants to carefully vet protests, practice protest safety, and learn your legal rights.

Volunteer Orientation - Let's Get Ready for the Midterms!
Come Show Your Democracy on Valentine's Day. 💘
We all know this election year is not going to be normal.
At Indivisible Oregon, we are gearing up. This moment calls for new, creative and effective ways to reach voters. And to do this, it will take volunteers to help organize and run events. If you have ever wanted to volunteer but didn’t know where to start, this is the event for you.
We are creating a meeting specifically for anyone interested in working on a canvas, a phone call, a letter writing or a protest event, or social media content creation.
YOU are the volunteers we need now. Whether you want to dip your toe in or want to help lead an event, this Volunteer Orientation is for you.
Our volunteer orientation will give you the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other Indivisible Oregon volunteers like yourself. We will have break-out groups focusing on: deep canvassing, deep phone calls, letter writing, visible protesting, administration, and social media content creation.
Join us to build grassroots power for all the fights to come. Together, we can defeat the anti-democratic MAGA movement, dismantle the GOP's advantage in key swing races, and maintain and expand Democratic power at the federal level.

NO KINGS: Save the Date
Check back for more details!
The latest round of protests had been in the works before the crackdown in Minneapolis. However, the killing of two people by federal agents in recent weeks has refocused plans.
Levin said they want to show “support for Minnesota and immigrant communities all over” and oppose “the secret police force that is murdering Americans and infringing on their basic constitutional rights.”
“And what we know is, the only way to defend those rights is to exercise them, and you do that in nonviolent but forceful ways, and that’s what I expect to see in ‘No Kings’ three,” Levin said.
