***IMMEDIATE ACTION***STOP EMIL BOVE’S APPELLATE COURT APPOINTMENT [7-28-25] (Copy)
Trump corrupted SCOTUS, filled his administration with sycophants, and neutered Congress. Now he’s trying to appoint judges loyal not to the Constitution and the rule of law but only to him.
Emil Bove, up for a vote as early as July 29 on a lifetime appellate position, is the most depraved and unfit of Trump’s nominees.
During 6 months as a Deputy A-G, he committed multiple unprecedented abuses of power:
o Identifying and purging FBI agents and federal prosecutors involved in January 6 cases;
o Dismissing corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams in return for assisting Trump’s mass deportation agenda;
o Championing Trump’s brutal, unconstitutional immigration enforcement efforts and directing subordinates to defy, circumvent, and lie to federal courts about them.
During the confirmation process, he:
o Wouldn’t rule out Trump running for a third term, an explicit Constitutional prohibition, or condemn the deadly January 6 riots;
o Refused to admit Biden’s 2020 win;
o Denied advising DOJ lawyers to violate court orders, despite three whistleblowers’ credible, contrary evidence;
o Tried to defend the Adams case dismissal and DOJ attorney firings
An extreme ideologue like Bove, with the above record, should be disbarred, not elevated to a lifetime Court of Appeals appointment.
Please thank your Democratic colleagues and GOP Senators Collins and Murkowski for standing firm for the rule of law and then do everything you can to stop this nomination in its tracks—demanding that the Senate pause the proceedings to hear from the whistleblowers and delaying the vote until angry constituents convince at least two additional GOP Senators to honor their oath by voting “no.”
