EPSTEIN’S VICTIMS DESERVE JUSTICE
QUICK READ: The Khanna-Massie discharge petition needs just 2 more signatories to force a House vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act, also pending in the Senate. It is unconscionable Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell went unpunished for so long and their high-rolling enablers and clients are still being protected. Full disclosure of the DOJ’s file will help Congress craft legislation both to combat sex trafficking and to protect survivors.

BACKGROUND
Despite Trump’s, his DOJ’s, and Speaker Mike Johnson’s maneuverings, the Epstein scandal refuses to die.
In late July, Johnson, hoping to prevent passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (H.R.4405), giving DOJ 30 days to publish all Epstein files, adjourned the House early, after pushing through a toothless resolution to replace any real accountability.
Trump’s subsequent obfuscations and threats also failed to kill the Khanna-Massie discharge petition, which needs only 2 more signatories—from either wavering Republicans or the winners of two special elections occurring later this month—to force a vote on H.R.4405.
Tuesday’s DOJ data dump of 33,000 files (about 1% of its holdings), almost all previously disclosed, suggests continued DOJ foot dragging, not transparency—underscoring the need for H.R.4405’s passage.
On Wednesday, during an emotional press conference with Democratic and Republican lawmakers, Epstein’s victims shared harrowing stories of sexual abuse, pleaded with Congress to force DOJ to release everything, and promised, in the face of inaction, to compile their own list of abusers and enablers.
Rather than embracing them, Trump further victimized them by making them part of a “Democratic hoax that never ends.”
So, what is really behind Trump’s obsession with preventing the truth from coming out?
Is he one of the pedophiles who sexually abused Epstein victims?
Is he trying to protect implicated billionaire friends and donors ?
Did he enable, or know about and fail to disclose, Epstein’s criminality somehow?
When all the sordidness comes out—as it must—it’ll be up to Congress to combat sex trafficking and protect its survivors. These, and all future, victims deserve nothing less.
ACTION One: Call the Senate.

Thank you for co-sponsoring S.2557, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. It is unconscionable that victims’ pleas were ignored for decades, Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell went unpunished for so long, and their high-rolling enablers and clients are still being protected. I am asking you to (1) keep showing the American people Trump’s and the GOP leadership’s complete lack of empathy for these brave survivors, (2) introduce and push for passage a “Sense of the Senate” resolution that Trump not pardon or otherwise reward Maxwell, as a way of showing the survivors that you stand with them, and (3) work with your colleagues to draft legislation that effectively combats sex trafficking and protects its survivors from neglect and mistreatment by their government.

I am calling to thank you, the entire Democratic caucus, and your GOP Colleagues, Reps. Boebert, Mace, and Taylor-Greene, who are brave enough to cross Donald Trump and push for full disclosure of the entire Epstein file. These records, which contain critical evidence about how Epstein and his network operated, who enabled him, and which powerful people looked the other way while children and young women were trafficked and abused, must be released so the full scope of their crimes and the complicity of those in power are no longer buried. Full disclosure is needed to help Congress effectively combat sex trafficking and protect its survivors from neglect and mistreatment by their government.

Why is it that the only GOP Representatives brave enough to cross Donald Trump and push for full disclosure of the entire Epstein are Lauren Boebert, Nancy Mace, and Marjorie Taylor-Greene? Have you no empathy for the abuses suffered by the survivors of the Epstein-Maxwell sex trafficking operation? As your constituent, I demand that you sign the discharge petition being circulated by Rep Massie and then vote for HR.4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. These records must be released to expose the true scope of their crimes and the complicity of those in power. Full disclosure is also needed to help Congress effectively combat sex trafficking and protect its survivors from neglect and mistreatment by their government.
