***IMMEDIATE ACTION***DEMOCRATS HAVE THE MOMENTUM; THEY CAN’T CAVE NOW [11-06-25]
On Tuesday, Americans came out in force in blue and red states to repudiate Trump’s cruel, degrading, and unpopular agenda.
The message to the Democrats by wide margins: You—not Republicans who fear crossing Trump more than they fear their constituents—are the only ones who’ll protect our interests and work to improve our lives.
Nevertheless, Senate leaders will try for the 14th time on Friday to force Democrats to accept their cruel CR with a new end date of sometime in January, rather than November 21, and the possibility of floor amendments on three full-year mini-spending bills.
—No agreement for a permanent extension of the ACA tax credits.
—No guardrails to force the Trump administration to spend money Congress allocates for things it budgets.
—No agreement to reinstate SNAP funds cut in the MAGA Murder Bill
If Democrats go along with this charade, they ‘ll lose all the ground they gained with the American people on Tuesday. We cannot let this happen.
TO DEM SENATORS: Look what happened on Tuesday, how motivated and galvanized voters are, and how furious we’ll be if Democrats cave now. Stay strong and keep fighting.
TO GOP SENATORS: Americans showed on Tuesday they’re ready and willing to replace lawmakers who won’t lower healthcare costs, root out corruption, or stand up to Trump. You must sit down with Democrats to permanently extend the ACA tax credits and enact guardrails precluding later recissions.
TO GOP REPS: Americans are tired of your failed leadership and demand you start working for your constituents by permanently extending the ACA tax credits and pushing Trump to release full SNAP funding. Otherwise, you’ll be looking for new work next year.
TO DEM REPS: Stay strong and keep fighting.
