The Trump Crime Family Is Raking in Billions at Our Expense

BACKGROUND
Since 2025, Trump’s pay-to-play governance, resource diversion, foreign payments, digital kickbacks, high-profile pardons, and unethical crypto manipulations increased his personal wealth by $2 billion. Including Trump’s family raises it to $4 billion.
Trump’s sons have profited through investments in defense technology start-ups and Pentagon contracts, generating “at least $3.2 billion in direct government business and an additional $3.1 billion in future contract options.”
Trump’s also engineered an $80 billion-dollar mining deal with Kazakhstan for tungsten, a mineral critical to semiconductor manufacturing, with the government promising $1.6 billion to fund it and Trump’s sons positioned to secure massive profits.
World Liberty Financial, the family’s crypto venture, has generated over $1 billion. It’s backed by the UAE’s 49% stake in the company, who’ve funneled $187 million to the Trump family.
Meanwhile, American families have lost $4 billion because of the Republican-generated cost-of-living crises:
Rolling back programs protecting consumers and workers;
Eliminating tax credits that provided essential healthcare and food assistance;
Cutting funding for critical agencies that track dangerous weather, protect public health and our environment, and recover various tax revenues;
Rising prices from Trump’s illegal wars and tariffs.
To protect the Trump family and its cronies, corruption investigations have been eased or dropped , which further erodes public trust, as an August 2026 Reuters/Ipsos poll demonstrates, with 69% of Americans—50% of Republicans, 66% of independents, and 90% of Democrats—believing Trump’s business interests directly influence his presidential decisions.
